Swansea Philharmonic Choir has presented a cheque for £1,387 to Breast Cancer Now.
Chair, Hazel Phillips, and Musical Director, Jonathan Rogers, gave the donation to local ambassador for Breast Cancer Now, Christianne Forrest.
The money was raised at the Choir’s summer charity concert ‘Sing Gently’ which took place at All Saints’ Church, Oystermouth, on 8th June 2024. A variety of songs including works by Parry, Tavener, Rachmaninoff and Whitacre were performed by the Choir, with organist Huw Tregelles Williams, accompanist Susan Croall, and soloists Ryan Evans, Emma Kennedy, Penny George and Ed Roberts.
